Driver App — Deliberately Simple, Designed for the Road

The Driver App follows a fundamentally different design philosophy than the other three apps: it must be usable by someone whose primary focus is safely operating a vehicle. The interface is deliberately minimal. Before starting a trip, the driver sees the day's route — all stops displayed in order, with the students who should board or exit at each stop. The route updates automatically if students are absent (stops are shown as faded and marked 'On Leave'). At each stop, one large tap target confirms a student boarded; at drop-off, another confirms they exited safely. A prominent 'Start Trip' button begins the journey. An equally prominent SOS button — requiring no navigation, no menus — instantly shares the bus's GPS coordinates and triggers emergency protocols. There is no text to read while driving. No small touch targets to aim for while the bus is moving. Every design decision prioritises safety over feature density.

Parent App — The Window Into Your Child's School Day

The Parent App is designed around one question: what would a parent want to know and do, right now? The answer shapes everything. The home screen opens to the Moments Feed — today's photos, mood updates, and diary entries for each child. Below that: quick-access tiles for live bus tracking (one tap opens the map), fee payment (shows outstanding balance and one-tap pay), attendance history (today's status plus recent trends), and report cards (current and all past terms). Leave requests and gate pass generation take seconds. For daycare parents, the infant care timeline is front and centre throughout the day. And for the critical alerts that can't wait for a parent to open the app, everything important also lands on WhatsApp — because the best parent app is the one parents actually engage with, not the one with the most features buried in menus they never open.
